Traci has taught comedy writing to hypnotists, hypnotherapists, and stage hypnotists for several years now. Even though you may not be a professional performer or stage hypnotist, don’t let the titles scare you! The basics of comedy writing are the same, and you will learn how to write jokes.
Comedy Writing for Stage Hypnotists 2024 was taught at The Performing Hypnosis Summit in February 2024 at The Orleans in Las Vegas. Students begin the class by telling a story and then go through the rigorous process of "punching it up" using the secrets of comedy writers and comedians. Traci Kanaan, a hypnotist and veteran road comedian goes through many of the processes she used to write her routines. Traci was voted the Top Female Lifestyle Entertainer of the Year in 2015-2018.
